Provider (2nd)  

The first of the Operational Support ships, Provider (2nd) was commissioned on September 28, 1963 at Lauzon, Quebec. Originally designated as a fleet replenishment ship, she was the largest ship RCN ship ever built in Canada. She enabled ships to remain at sea for extended periods, as well as greatly increasing their mobility and range. She has stowage space for some 12,000 tons of fuel and diesel oil, in addition to spare parts, annumition and missiles, general stores and food. She was decommissioned June 24, 1998. Experience with Provider led to significant changes in the design of the next two operational support ships, Protecteur and Preserver.

Qu'Appelle (2nd)  

Built by Davie Shipbuilding Co. at Lauzon, Quebec, the Qu'Appelle (2nd) was commissioned on September 14, 1963. She is one of the Destroyer Escorts (DDE) MacKenzie class of ships. Qu'Appelle underwent Destroyer Life Extension (DELEX) refit. She was decommissioned July 31, 1992.

Calgary (2nd)  

Calgary (2nd) was built at Lauzon, Quebec and commissioned in 1995. She is 134.1 metres in length and can travel at speeds greater than 27 knots. The Calgary carries one Sea King helicopter along with various armament.
