Biography:
I arrived back in Nova Scotia from Whitehorse in 1978 with ink still wet on a Commercial Pilots Licence and a determination to learn how to sail. Al Chaddoch was kind enough to introduce me to both Morris Dingy's, and a gentleman in the finest sense of the word who owned a green J-30. A little offshore racing that summer led to an October sail to Bermuda (11 days-big weather) and St Thomas (5 days-a magnificent, magical sail) and enough stories to keep me in food and liquor for a long time!  I raced for several years in local regattas, club racing and two Marblehead-Halifax Races. Racing is the best experience this side of Bermuda. And then, in 1988 I made another run to the south - Bermuda (5 days-decent weather, very good sail) and St. Martin (11 days - no wind, boring beyond belief).  These days I'm repatriating early C&C's - first a '74-27' that I sailed home from Connecticut across the Gulf of Maine under a full moon in May, and then a '72-30' that I found on eBay and which arrived magically on a truck.  In my other life I am a Realtor associated with Sutton Group in Halifax After 17 years experience in the industry I enjoy real estate as much as I enjoy sailing which is healthy! And I'm both honest and trustworthy... (ask the good people who bought the '27 ;-)).
